15-year-old teenager is killed after his house was broken into in Feira de Santana

A 15-year-old teenager was found dead inside his home after the property was invaded by suspects, in the early hours of this Monday (2), All Souls' Day, in the Tomba neighborhood, in Feira de Santana, the second largest city in Bahia. The crime happened around 4:30 am, on Rua Anolina.

The victim was identified as Matheus Moreira Brandão. According to witnesses, the teenager's mother had rented the house about 15 days ago. She reportedly informed that she lived in a larger residence, and that she intended to move to a smaller property.

According to the report, the victim apparently was alone at the time of the crime. The suspects allegedly cut the padlock to enter the residence. A ballistic vest cover was also found at the scene.

The teenager's family was not located at the time of the crime. Neighbors said they were sleeping and did not witness the action.

The case is investigated by the Homicide Police Station (DH) of Feira de Santana. Matheus Moreira's body was sent to the Technical Police Department (DPT) for autopsy.
