VIDEO: Driver knocks down pole and crashes luxury car into store in BH

A 23-year-old driver was injured after losing control of his car and crashing into a store on Avenida Barbacena, in the Barro Preto neighborhood, in the Center-South region of Belo Horizonte, in the early hours of this Monday (2). According to the Fire Department, the young man had avoided an approach by the Military Police and invaded the establishment.

The video, recorded by the store's security circuit, shows the moment the car hits a traffic light at high speed, catches fire and invades the store (see above). There is still no information about the causes of the accident.

The incident happened around 3:30 am. According to the firefighters, the driver was rescued by the BM Rescue Unit team and taken to João XXIII Hospital, under the escort of the PM. He had a mild condition and remained stable and conscious.
