MOSCOW, October 10 - RIA Novosti. Head coach of Krasnodar Murad Musaev called the defeat from St. Petersburg Zenit in the tenth round of the Russian Football Championship a painful one.

On Saturday, Krasnodar lost at home to Zenit with a score of 2:3. The hosts suffered their first defeat in the current championship.

“We always have such intense games with Zenit, we’ve been fighting for the highest places in recent years. I can’t say: “We forgot, it’s okay.” We need to analyze. Such a painful defeat, and we need to do everything to play as we did in the second half. We need to unite as a team and move on, there are many games ahead. Much needs to be improved,” Musaev said at a press conference, the recording of which was published in the Krasnodar group on VKontakte.

“Now I can speak from emotions. It seemed that simple cards were given, especially in the first half, when it was just game episodes and collisions. Big questions for VAR. Why did they call the referee to watch this episode from the penalty spot, which was not even close? There were a lot of emotions on the field, Zenit was dissatisfied with something, we were dissatisfied with something. Globally, the refereeing did not affect the final score,” Musaev said.
