Rivers overflowed their banks in Transbaikalia, houses and roads were flooded

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, rivers overflowed their banks and flooded roads and people's houses. At least five settlements were affected by the flood, reports the Telegram channel Babr Mash.

Due to heavy rains, the level of several reservoirs rose at once - as a result, villages in the Chernyshevsky district were flooded with water. In Aksenovo-Zilovsky and Bukachach, the flood reached residential buildings and dozens of plots.

According to preliminary data, three houses, 46 yards and three kilometers of roads were damaged by the disaster. 147 residents of the Russian region were caught in the flood zone, including 32 children. A high alert regime has been introduced in the Chernyshevsky District, but temporary accommodation centers for victims have not yet been prepared, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
