Roscosmos announced plans to use the anthropomorphic robot "Teledroid" on the ISS for dangerous operations

The anthropomorphic robot "Teledroid" on board the International Space Station (ISS) will engage in dangerous and risky operations. The objectives of the product were outlined by the general director of the Roscosmos state corporation Dmitry Bakanov. TASS reports this.

The manager recalled that the equipment for the robot will be delivered to the ISS by the Progress MS-35 cargo ship. “In November, we will directly deliver this robotic complex itself, and it will be possible to carry out especially dangerous and risky operations with it, so as not to risk the lives of our guys, cosmonauts,” Bakanov said.

Earlier, the Soyuz-2.1b rocket launched with the Progress MS-35 cargo ship and equipment for the Teledroid robot - a workstation and an exoskeleton.
