Yang Wenke, chairman of the Kuomintang Hsinchu County Party Headquarters, posted an article today on the county party headquarters’ Facebook and official group: “Spurn on the vote-cheating betrayers who ‘flyed the blue flag and fought against the blue army’, the KMT will unite and win!”, emphasizing that the KMT’s primary election in Hsinchu County has ended, and everyone should respect the system and accept the results. However, there are some people in the local area who are "flying the blue flag to fight against the Blue Army." He said, "Those who betray the party or use the name of the Blue Army to defraud the party's votes should be despised."

Since Yang Wenke’s previous statement did not name who was “flying the blue flag and fighting the blue army”, is it the county councilor and township mayor candidate nominated by the party? Leaders of various local associations in Blue Camp? Or a candidate from another party or without party membership? Therefore, as soon as the post came out, it immediately triggered various speculations. In response to this, Yang Wenke responded through the county party headquarters that at the current overall situation, the Kuomintang only has the "determination to unite and win the election" and will not comment much else. He believes that society will have its own public comment.

Party Speaker Zhang Zhenrong said that the problems mentioned by Yang Wenke do still exist among a small number of party comrades, but after everyone's efforts to integrate them, the dissenters are now in the minority. If there are really party candidates who are "flying the blue flag and fighting the blue army", they can still impose party discipline before the voting day, and in severe cases, they can even revoke the nomination and expel them from the party, but he believes that no such person exists.
