Family Solidarity Network was jealous of the image of the woman in her pajamas being taken during the operation against Mersin Municipalities

Family Solidarity Network made a written statement regarding the taking of images of the woman who opened the door and publishing them in the press during a house search carried out within the scope of the operation against Mersin Metropolitan, Mezitli and Yenişehir municipalities.

In the statement, which stated that although the woman stated that she was not available, her image continued to be taken, the following statements were made:

“We do not accept that during the dawn operation against Mersin Metropolitan, Mezitli and Yenişehir Municipalities, images of a woman in her pajamas who opened the door during a house search were taken and leaked to the press.

Dissemination of the intimate images in question constitutes a crime as well as violating the right not to be tarnished, which is one of the most basic principles of law.

Insistently continuing to take images despite the female friend whose image was taken stating that she is not available constitutes a crime of violating the confidentiality of private life and personal data.

Search warrants cannot be used as a means of exposure.

It is never acceptable for a woman, in particular, to endanger both her life and her reputation by ignoring her presumption of innocence.

Security exists to ensure public safety and order, not to endanger citizens.

Immediate sanctions should be imposed on those who unlawfully executed the search warrant and leaked the images to the press.

As the Family Solidarity Network, we respectfully inform the public that we stand by our female friend who was subjected to crime.”
