Harsh reaction from AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik to Israel's E1 plan in the West Bank

AK Party Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik reacted to the Israeli administration with harsh words.

"The genocidal policy of the Netanyahu network to 'Gazanize' the West Bank continues." "Israel's aggression towards stateless Palestinians by expanding illegal settlements is spatial genocide. The concepts of 'settlement' and 'settler' are wrong; this is occupation, theft and genocidal violence." he said.

Stating that the E1 plan that Israel is trying to implement in the West Bank is a new and dangerous phase of genocidal violence, Ömer Çelik said: "We strongly condemn Israel's plan to open a tender for the construction of new squatter-settler housing in a region of the occupied West Bank. This aggression aims to effectively divide the West Bank into two and isolate East Jerusalem. This aims to destroy the two-state solution perspective." he said.

Çelik continued:

“For years, our President has been asking on many grounds, especially in the UN, “What are the borders of Israel?” By asking, he draws the world's attention to this invasion. Israel violates all the rules of the international community. Israel's steps target not only Gaza and the West Bank, but all humanity and rules. Everyone should oppose occupation, theft and genocide called 'settlements' and 'settlers'. “All countries should take common and concrete steps against this.”

REACTIONS TO ISRAEL CONTINUE

International reactions against Israel's West Bank occupation plan continue to increase. The construction project of 1,234 houses in the area called "E1" in the West Bank has been postponed for about 30 years due to reactions.
