A perfect hit with the first shot from AKINCI with MGK ammunition

Turkey's attack unmanned aerial vehicle AKINCI continues to increase its operational capabilities with domestic and national ammunition integration. AKINCI TİHA, developed by Baykar, successfully completed its first firing test with the Morphoz Guidance Kit (MGK) produced by ASELSAN with completely domestic components.

HE HIT THE TARGET EXACTLY IN SAROS GULF

Within the scope of the test activity, AKINCI TİHA took off from Çorlu Flight Training and Test Center in Tekirdağ with MGK developed by ASELSAN and ALPAGUT ammunition signed by ROKETSAN and STM.

AKINCI, which hit the target with MGK ammunition with full accuracy with the first shot in the test carried out in Saros Gulf, successfully completed its mission and returned to Çorlu Flight Training and Test Center.

AKINCI'S AMMUNITION INVENTORY IS EXPANDING

Developing its offensive capabilities with the integration of domestic and national ammunition, AKINCI has reached a wide range of missions with its different range, guidance system and warhead options.

To date, many domestic ammunition family such as MAM-L, MAM-T, MAM-C, TOLUN ammunition family, TEBER-81, TEBER-82, LAÇİN, LGK-81, LGK-82, HGK-82, GÖKÇE, GÖZDE, KGK-82-SİHA, İHA-300, İHA-230, İHA-122, ÇAKIR, EREN and SUNGUR have been launched. Integration of ammunition was carried out.

2.2 BILLION DOLLARS EXPORT FROM BAYKAR

On the other hand, Baykar announced that it broke its own record with 2.2 billion dollars of exports in 2025. The company, which has generated 90 percent of its revenues from exports in recent years, continued to strengthen its global position in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Baykar, which was among Turkey's top 10 exporting companies in 2023, 2024 and 2025, also stood out with its export performance in the defense and aerospace sector.

According to the data announced by Baykar, export agreements were signed with 36 countries for Bayraktar TB2 SİHA and 16 countries for AKINCI TİHA. The total number of countries with which the company has export agreements reached 39.
