Funding allegation against AKP's Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya: Call for resignation from Şamil Tayyar

CHP Spokesperson Zeynel Emre's claim that AKP Deputy Chairman Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya and her husband İlyas Kaya made high profits on shares related to the fund scandal became a hot topic on the political agenda.

According to the claim in question, it was claimed that Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya and her husband İlyas Kaya deposited a total of 163 million 46 thousand liras and withdrew 2.17 billion liras 5 months later.

Following the allegations, remarkable statements came one after another from the AKP front.

ŞAMİL TAYYAR: "IF THE ALLEGATIONS ARE TRUE, HE SHOULD RESIGN IMMEDIATELY"

Former AKP Deputy Şamil Tayyar stated in his statement on his social media account that the allegations are extremely serious and grave. Pointing out that the Kaya couple has not made a statement yet, Tayyar used the following statements:

"If the allegations are true, this is not an acceptable situation. He should resign immediately. If the allegations are not true, he should immediately deny and file a lawsuit. No one can use his position as a means of personal enrichment. In the meantime, if there are other friends who have similarly enriched themselves through the fund and multiplied their wealth, they should do what is necessary without waiting too long. Look, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office requested the list of those who left the funds in the last 3 months, be aware."
