Accident between car, tow truck and truck leaves one dead and two injured in Córrego Danta

A crash between a car, a tow truck and a truck transporting cattle caused the death of a 52-year-old driver and left two others injured this Saturday morning (26), in Córrego Danta.

According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the road is closed in both directions to carry out the investigation and remove the vehicles. Police teams are on site managing traffic and helping to assist victims.

According to the PRF, the tow truck driver was confirmed dead at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the cattle truck received medical attention at the scene and was taken to the health unit in Campos Altos, with body pain.

The driver of the car also received treatment at the scene. However, it was not known which hospital he was taken to.

The incident is ongoing and there is still no information about the dynamics of the accident, which will be investigated by the Civil Police.
