Alptürk Enginyurt was detained and released under judicial control.

Last evening, Alptürk Enginyurt was detained while he was with his father, Cemal Enginyurt. Following a health check, Enginyurt was referred to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Having completed his deposition procedures at the police department, Enginyurt was referred to the courthouse, appeared before a judge, and was released under judicial control conditions.

THE INVESTIGATION STARTED WITH A TIP-OFF

According to a tip-off made to the prosecutor's office, it was alleged that unregistered products were being sold through a sports center named "Red GYM" in Ankara. It was claimed that vehicles registered under Cemal Enginyurt's name in the TBMM (Turkish Grand National Assembly) records were used in some shipments. According to the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) report, the money inflows and outflows in Alptürk Enginyurt's accounts amounted to approximately 15 million TL between 2021 and 2024, while amounting to approximately 25 million TL in the year 2025.

It was determined that there was a money transfer of 18 million 966 thousand 960 TL between Enginyurt and his father Cemal Enginyurt, and 2 million 545 thousand 414 TL with Astürk Akaryakıt (Fuel).

RELEASED UNDER JUDICIAL CONTROL

Cemal Enginyurt's son Alptürk Enginyurt and Mehmet Sedat Erge were detained on charges of "endangering public health" and "laundering assets derived from crime." Enginyurt, whose deposition procedures at the police station were completed, was referred to the courthouse. Appearing before a judge, Enginyurt was released with judicial control measures.
