Students from Rondônia who won prizes in national Olympics are honored by flight commander
Students from Pimenta Bueno won the Crystal Medal in the ONHB final, in Campinas (SP). During the flight, the pilot congratulated the students on their achievement and highlighted their dedication throughout the tournament.

Students from Rondônia who won prizes in the 18th National Olympiad in History were honored by the commander of a plane during a flight to Rondônia.
The group "Heranças do Saber" secured a place in the in-person final held at Unicamp on August 29th and 30th. They won the Crystal Medal.
The 18th Olympics brought together more than 64 teams from across the country. In Rondônia, 161 groups started the competition, reduced according to the cutoff scores.
For director Rosângela Mendes Pereira, the achievement is the result of the work of the students, the guiding teacher and the entire pedagogical team.
Júlia and Felipe’s parents expressed pride in the achievement. They highlighted the effort and dedication of the students in preparation.
Students Júlia Aguiar, Felipe Ferreira and Emylli Vitória, from Escola Estadual de Ensino Integral Professor Valdir Monfredinho, in Pimenta Bueno (RO), awarded prizes at the 18th National Olympiad in Brazilian History (ONHB), were honored by the commander of a plane during a flight from Campinas (SP) to Rondônia at the beginning of the week. The video went viral on social media.
The moment was recorded by teacher Scheila Haese, who accompanied the students in the competition alongside the school director, Rosângela Mendes Pereira. During the flight, the captain congratulated the students on their achievement and highlighted their dedication throughout the competition (see above).
"They are returning home after representing their school, their state, at the Brazilian National History Olympiad, in Campinas. Bringing in their luggage an achievement that will remain forever in their memory, a Crystal Medal. More than a medal, they carry the result of many studies, dedication, courage and teamwork", said the commander.
The group named "Heranças do Saber" advanced through the five online stages of the competition and secured a place in the national final, held in person at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), on the 29th and 30th of August.
In the final, the students won the Crystal Medal, awarded to the teams that placed in the fourth award category.
The 18th ONHB brought together more than 64 teams from all over Brazil. In Rondônia, 161 teams started the competition. At each stage, the number of participants was reduced according to performance and the cut-off scores established by the organization.
School and family pride
For director Rosângela Mendes Pereira, the result is the result of the work of the students, the guiding teacher and the entire school's pedagogical team.
"The recognition of the efforts of our students, the dedication of the guiding teacher and the pedagogical work developed daily at Escola Professor Valdir Monfredinho. Representing Rondônia in a national competition and returning with this result shows that our students are capable of achieving great achievements", he said.
To g1, Júlia's father, Paulo César Pinheiro, said he was happy to learn that his daughter could represent Rondônia in a national competition. According to him, the teenager has always been dedicated to her studies.
"I'm very proud, she's very hardworking. Regarding her preparation to go, we went after the documentation and what I could do, I did for her to go and everything went well, thank God. She works very hard to study and doesn't have much difficulty learning. When she starts studying, she takes the time and really studies", said Paulo César.
Felipe's father, Pedro Leonardo, also highlighted his son's dedication during preparation for the competition.
"A feeling of pride for this achievement that he fought for and with a lot of effort managed to bring a medal to our state and municipality. In Preparation there were intense days of studies and dedication to deliver the best result", he highlighted.
