Their father performed the funeral of the brothers in the incident in which 3 people were killed in Ankara

28-year-old Mehmet Emre Çalı and 29-year-old Enes Çalı, brothers of the three people whose lifeless bodies were found in an apartment in Ankara's Yenimahalle district, were sent off to their last journey in Akyurt. The Çalı brothers were buried after the funeral prayer performed by their father Sedat Çalı.

The incident in the capital took place yesterday evening in an apartment on 500th Street in Anadolu Mahallesi in Yenimahalle.

According to the information obtained, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notice of citizens who saw 3 people motionless in the apartment.

According to the news on İHA, during the checks, it was determined that Mehmet Büyükırmak (35), Enes Çalı (29) and his brother Mehmet Emre Çalı (28) lost their lives.

Initial investigations revealed bullet and stab wounds on the bodies of 3 people. The bodies were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy.

Following the incident, police teams started work to capture the suspect Kadir Çiçek (30). After the suspect was located, it was learned that Çiçek, who did not comply with the teams' call to 'surrender', committed suicide with the gun he used in the murders.

The bodies of Mehmet Emre Çalı and his older brother Enes Çalı were handed over to their relatives after the procedures. A funeral ceremony was held for the Çalı brothers in Karacalar District of Ankara's Akyurt district.

The Çalı brothers were buried in the afternoon at the Karacalar District Cemetery, after the funeral prayer performed by their father Sedat Çalı. It was learned that the investigation into the incident is continuing.
