Attack with a gun and stick in the middle of the street in Bursa: 2 arrests

The incident took place on August 17 in Uluabatlı Hasan Boulevard, Sakarya District, central Osmangazi district. Erkan E., who was walking on the road with his wife Duygu E., encountered his enemies Serkan Y. (48), Erkan Y., Ahmet Y. (44), Mehmet Y. (32) and Erkan Y. (28). The suspects attacked Erkan E. and his wife Duygu E.

The suspects beat the couple during the fight and injured Erkan E. with a gun in his hands, right leg and left groin. Erkan E., who was injured, was beaten with sticks by the suspects while he was on the ground. After a while, the suspects escaped, and police and medical teams were dispatched upon notice. After the first intervention of the arriving medical teams, the injured were taken to Çekirge State Hospital.

In the footage, it was seen that Erkan E. was attacked while walking on the road with his wife Duygu E., Erkan E. was injured with a gun and fell to the ground, and the defendants continued to kick and hit Erkan E., who was lying on the ground, with a stick.

Police teams started an investigation into the incident and raided the houses of the suspects whose names Erkan E. gave in the ambulance. The teams detained Erkan Y. and Serkan Y. He determined that one of the suspects, Erkan Y., was the brother-in-law of the injured Erkan E., Serkan Y. was his brother-in-law's brother, and Mehmet Y. was his nephew, and that there was hostility between them regarding family matters.

The suspects were sent to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station. The suspects who were brought before the judge were arrested and sent to prison. The teams continue to work to catch the fugitive suspects.
