A tornado disaster occurred in Antalya.

Last night around 23:00, the tornado that occurred at a construction site in Fevzi Çakmak District of Kepez blew away two containers where workers were staying at the construction site.

While two workers died at the scene, two workers who were taken to the hospital after the first aid could not be saved despite all the interventions. It was reported that one worker's treatment continues.

Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin made a statement about the tornado disaster in which four workers lost their lives.

"We are faced with a very interesting natural phenomenon." Governor Şahin said, "Because no storm or tornado has been reported anywhere else in the city. There is nothing in the surrounding buildings, but we are faced with a tornado that shattered two containers in this area alone." he said.

The construction site where the incident took place was viewed from the air in the morning.
