Russian citizen wanted with Interpol red notice was caught in Antalya

During the operation held in Antalya, the suspect, who was wanted by the Russian judicial authorities with a red notice by the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) for the crime of "qualified fraud", was caught.

Provincial Police Department Intelligence and Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime branches teams worked under the coordination of the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to capture those wanted at the international level.

As a result of the technical and physical monitoring carried out in this context, it was determined that M.D., who was prosecuted by the Russian judicial authorities for the crime of "qualified fraud" and was wanted by Interpol with a red notice, was in Antalya.

The suspect was caught at the address where he was hiding during an operation in Alanya district.

After being processed at the police station, M.D was handed over to the relevant units to be extradited to Russia.
