Massacre in Antalya: He Killed His Wife, Mother-in-Law and Father-in-Law

In Antalya, 38-year-old Sefer Coşkun shot and killed his wife, 35-year-old Ayşegül Coşkun, who was going through a divorce, his mother-in-law, 61-year-old Cemile, and his 65-year-old father-in-law, Ahmet Engel, with a hunting rifle. While the three children who were at home at the time of the incident were taken under protection, an investigation was launched to capture Coşkun, who escaped.

The blood-curdling incident in Antalya took place around 05:00 in the Karakuyu District of Korkuteli district.

Sefer Coşkun (38) went with his car to the house where Ayşegül Coşkun (35), with whom he was in the process of divorcing, and her parents lived.

Here, an argument broke out between the parties. During the argument, Coşkun shot and killed his wife Ayşegül Coşkun, his mother-in-law Cemile Engel (61) and his father-in-law Ahmet Engel (65) with the hunting rifle he brought with him.

Upon notice, many gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. While the 3 children who were at home at the time of the incident were taken under protection, an investigation was launched to catch the suspect.
