A final report is expected in the death investigation of Arif Ahmet Denizolgun

The results were sent to ATK 1st Specialization Board to prepare a definitive report on why Denizolgun died.

NATURAL DEATH OR MURDER?

In the investigation launched upon the claim of "My uncle was killed" by former MP Fatih Süleyman Denizolgun, the nephew of Arif Ahmet Denizolgun, who was found dead in his house in Beykoz in 2016, Denizolgun's grave was opened and samples were taken from his bones and soil. The Bone and Teeth Examination Branch of the Mortuary Specialization Department of the Forensic Medicine Institute, the Toxicology Branch of the Chemistry Specialization Department and the Biology Specialization Department completed their examinations on the samples taken. It was reported that the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office transferred the information and documents regarding the examination results prepared by three separate specialized departments to the 1st Specialization Board of the Forensic Medicine Institute for reporting. The final report to be prepared will shed light on whether the death was natural or murder.

DOCTOR WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

- Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the death of former Minister of Transport Arif Ahmet Denizolgun, N.D., who is claimed to be Denizolgun's doctor, was detained on the charge of 'false testimony'. In his statement, N.D. said, "The allegations that I am Denizolgun's private doctor are not true. I only examined him a few times when he came to the hospital." N.D. said, "I gave a statement to the prosecutor while I was inside the farm on the day of the incident. However, I am not sure about the part where I said there was blood coming from his mouth. Maybe I may have interpreted the fluid coming from the stomach that day due to death as blood."
