Robbery of a postal truck in Campinas leaves employees surrendered

Two men got out of the car, announced the robbery and took over driving the truck. The postal employees were captured and placed in the gang's vehicle. Later, the police found the truck abandoned on a street in Jardim Rosália II, in Campinas (SP).

In a statement, the Post Office reported that the workers were not injured and are doing well. The state-owned company declared that it is cooperating with the investigations, which will be conducted by the Federal Police (PF).

Customers in the region must monitor the status of their orders via the Correios website or app. The information will be provided directly to users through official service channels.

The incident was registered by the Military Highway Police, and the victims were advised on the steps to present the case to the Civil Police.
