Drone attack near the border with Poland and a briefing by the services at the RCB

In the morning, Polish systems detected an attack by several Geran-5 jet drones in western Ukraine. One of them hit 1 km from the border with Poland, the other 5 km.

The Polish army scrambled fighters, and the services warned residents of border regions about the threat.

One of the Russian drones hit a Kiev-Warsaw train before the border with Poland, another one near the Dorohusk-Jagodzin border crossing. No violation of the Polish border was recorded - it was reported before 10th Operational Command of the Branches of the Armed Forces, after completion of operations.

The president's spokesman, Rafał Leśkiewicz, said on Sunday that Karol Nawrocki, who is attending the harvest festival in Tryńcza in Podkarpacie, "is kept up to date informed about all incidents and events related to the security of the Republic of Poland by the Duty Operational Service operating in the National Security Bureau."

It is in contact with the Government Security Center and other services, Leśkiewicz said. He emphasized that the Chancellery of the President will keep informed about all the president's decisions.

On Sunday at 5 p.m., a special briefing of the services will be held at the headquarters of the Government Security Center with the participation of ministers and services on the initiative of Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Nawrocki: Poland in the countryside is built around Christian values

The president emphasized at the harvest festival in Tryńcz that Podkarpacie is "the land of hardworking people who have been guardians of Polish tradition and cultural heritage for generations." As he said, religious symbols are also an important element, showing how important Christian values ​​are.

This shows that Poland in the Polish countryside, in our hearts, is built around Christian values, which also do not fade away. And the Polish countryside is the guardian of these values. Thank you very much for caring about our values, for being aware that Poland has been around for over a thousand years and that Christian values ​​are where they should be, said President Nawrocki.

The president also talked about the problems currently faced by farms. He mentioned droughts and downpours, high prices of fuels and fertilizers, pressure related to the inflow of agricultural products from outside the European Union, as well as low purchase prices.

Today, the Polish farmer not only feeds and focuses on his farm, but is also subject to constant pressure. If we take into account that the purchase prices of agricultural products, as my advisors say, are the same as 15 years ago, only then will we realize that this wonderful holiday required hard work, dedication, determination, and perhaps often risk from you, he said.

He also appealed to the government and parliament to adopt the bill he submitted regarding the protection of rural production functions.
