N'Golo Kante and transfer cost statement from Aziz Yıldırım

Speaking at the ordinary financial general assembly meeting of Fenerbahçe Club, President Aziz Yıldırım made statements regarding the club's transfer expenditures.

Yıldırım said that the total cost of Matteo Guendouzi, N'Golo Kante, Sidiki Cherif and Mert Günok was 200 million Euros. Fenerbahçe President particularly drew attention to the expenses made for Kante.

"KANTE'S COST IS 70 MILLION EURO"

Aziz Yıldırım emphasized that he had no criticism of Kante's performance and said, "Kante alone costs 70 million Euros! I am not saying anything about the boy's footballing skills, I would be shocked if I did. I do not speak by heart."

DRAW ATTENTION TO SALARY, SIGNATURE FEE AND TAX

Yıldırım claimed that Kante's salary and signing money total is 41 million 900 thousand Euros.

Stating that 5 million Euros of transfer fee and manager payments were added to this, Yıldırım said, "The manager says 3 million 200 thousand, 3 million more. Collect, collect! Where have you come from! Leave it, brother! You will tax 40 percent, the state takes it."

Following Aziz Yıldırım's words, Ertan Torunoğulları made a statement.

Torunoğulları said, "I am disturbed by the mention of our valuable football player Kante's name in every discussion in the club."

Torunoğulları, who also reacted to the disclosure of tax-included costs, said, "I find it significant that the figures are stated as including tax to make the costs appear even higher. I think there is a tax only for N'Golo Kante in the country."
