Taiwan People's Party Keelung City Zhongzheng District City Councilor candidate Lin Tinghan established a campaign headquarters on Xinfeng Street today. He is the first People's Party City Council candidate to set up a campaign headquarters. People's Party Chairman Huang Guochang, Keelung Mayor Xie Guoliang, and Kuomintang Keelung City Party Committee Chairman Lin Peixiang all came to the platform to support, showing that the Keelung Blue and White Alliance is unshakable.

Lin Tinghan said that the campaign headquarters was chosen on Xinfeng Street, where he grew up. Seeing the elders and villagers who took care of him along the way, he felt full of gratitude. Combining his past experience as a parliamentary assistant, city deputy spokesperson and mayor's secretary, his major from the National Taiwan University School of Public Health, and his experience of the situation of caregivers after family changes, he put forward the vision of "Keelung is loving and age-friendly". In the future, "Keelung will be inclusive of generations", "Safe childbirth", "people-oriented housing", "parking friendly" and "Zhongzheng Xindu Star" as five major policy axes to promote long-term care transportation, child and child care, community walking safety, parking improvement and youth housing.

Huang Guochang said that he was very touched that Lin Tinghan had complete experience in parliament and city government. He took on the responsibility of taking care of his family after a family accident at a young age and continued to devote himself to public affairs. Xie Guoliang recalled that the first time he met Lin Tinghan was at his high school graduation ceremony. At that time, Lin Tinghan's mother held his hand and told him: "Tinghan is a child who is extremely interested in public affairs." Lin Tinghan later entered the city government as a confidential secretary and deputy spokesperson. The two worked together to promote municipal government and also faced challenges together during the 2024 recall case. Xie Guoliang said that he looks forward to using Blue and White cooperation to allow more enthusiastic and professional young talents to devote themselves to public services and jointly promote the construction of Keelung.
