The Central Meteorological Administration pointed out that due to the influence of the northeast monsoon today (15th), there will be local short-lived showers in the north and eastern half of Taoyuan and the Hengchun Peninsula on the windward side. Particularly heavy rain will occur on the north coast of Keelung, the Yilan area and the mountainous areas of Greater Taipei. It will be cloudy to sunny in other areas. Today, there will also be sporadic short-lived showers in the southern region from early morning to morning, while there will be local short-lived showers in the south of Chiayi in the afternoon, scattered short-lived showers in the mountainous areas north of the central region, and local heavy rains in the mountainous areas south of Yunlin.

The Central Meteorological Administration issued a special heavy rain warning for Keelung City, New Taipei City, Taipei City and Yilan County at 8:35 last night, stating that due to the influence of the northeast monsoon, the rain will continue until today. In terms of temperature, the daytime high temperature in the north and Yilan has dropped slightly, ranging from 27 to 31 degrees in the northern and eastern half. The central and southern parts can still reach 32 and 33 degrees, which makes it feel hotter. As for the low temperature in various places, it is about 24 to 26 degrees. As for the weather on the outlying islands, Penghu is sunny and cloudy at 26 to 29 degrees; Kinmen is sunny and cloudy at 26 to 30 degrees; Matsu is sunny and cloudy at 25 to 28 degrees.

In terms of air quality, the Zhumiao, Yilan, and Huadong Kongpin Districts are rated "good"; the northern, central, Yunjianan, Gaoping Kongpin Districts, Matsu, Kinmen, and Penghu are rated "fair".

Affected by the northeasterly monsoon on Wednesday (16th), there will be local short-lived showers north of Taoyuan, Yilan area and Hengchun Peninsula on the windward side, and scattered short-lived showers in Huadong area; it will be cloudy in other areas. The high temperature is predicted to be 28 to 30 degrees in the northern and eastern half of Taiwan and Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu, and 32 to 33 degrees in the central and southern parts. In terms of low temperature, it is 23 to 26 degrees in various parts of Taiwan and Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu.

On Thursday (17th), the northeast monsoon weakened and the environment turned easterly. There were local brief showers in greater Taipei, the eastern half of the region and the Hengchun Peninsula. It was cloudy to sunny in other areas. The moisture will decrease again from Friday (18th) to next Monday (21st), and the weather will be mainly cloudy to sunny in various places. Only the north coast of Keelung, Yihua area, the mountainous areas of Greater Taipei and the Hengchun Peninsula will have sporadic short-term showers. The high temperature is predicted to be 30 to 31 degrees in the northern and eastern half, 32 to 33 degrees in the central and southern parts, and 29 to 30 degrees in Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu. In terms of low temperature, it is 24 to 27 degrees in various parts of Taiwan and Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu.
