Yankees captain Judge had a no-hitter in his first game back from injury, but his teammates helped the team win with the winning shot

[Sports Center/Comprehensive Report] Yankees captain and MVP slugger "Judge" Aaron Judge returned from injury today. He faced the Rockies in the first game of his comeback with 3 hits and 2K. However, the Yankees' morale improved after his return. Heliot Ramos, who took over Judge's defense, hit the winning 3-pointer in the 8th inning to help the team defeat the Rockies 5:3 and draw a red plate in 3 consecutive games.

Judge previously suffered a fatigue fracture of his right ribs and has not played since May 31st, US time. He was placed on the disabled list on June 5th. After a three-month rest, he returned from injury today and served as the starting right fielder, carrying the third at-bat. Yankees manager Aaron Boone said before the game that he would not play the entire game and would allow him to gradually increase his workload.

Judge struck out in the first at-bat of the first game back in the game by Rockies starting right-hander Gabriel Hughes. He hit a fly ball to center field in the second at bat in the fourth inning and struck out again in the sixth inning. Ramos took over in right field for the seventh inning. Judge had no hits in 3 at-bats and struck out 2 times. His batting average dropped to 0.244 and his OPS was 0.895.

The Yankees took the lead in the first inning with Luis Garcia Jr.'s timely hit. Rockies second baseman Adael Amador bombarded American League Cy Young favorite Cam Schlittler, the Yankees' fireball ace, in the third inning to tie the game at 1:1. The Yankees' offensive resumed in the 5th inning. Ryan McMahon hit a leadoff hit, and Ramos, who took over from Judge in the right field, hit a 3-run bomb in center field in the 8th inning, helping the team expand their lead to 5:1.

In the ninth inning of the Rockies' hard-hitting catcher, Hunter Goodman hit a 2-run cannon to right field, his 37th of the season, which scared the Yankees into a cold sweat. Star closer David Bednar successfully defended the game, and the Yankees won 5:3 in the end. Schlitler gave up a high-quality start and allowed 1 run in 7 innings of 10K, winning his 13th win of the season.
