China News Service, Chongqing, October 4 (Zhang Xu, Wu Yu, Li Xiaomao) China Railway Chengdu Bureau Group Co., Ltd. announced on October 4 that during the National Day holiday, the construction of many key railway projects in Chongqing will not stop or be delayed. More than 20,000 railway builders will stick to the construction front line and fully promote the construction of key projects such as the west-Chongqing High-speed Railway, Yi-Fu High-speed Railway, Chengdu-Chongqing Middle Line High-speed Railway, and Chongqing-Wanzhou High-speed Railway.
At the construction site of the Hechuan section of the Chongqing-Chongqing high-speed railway, nearly 800 builders from the 14th Bureau of China Railway concentrated their efforts on the construction of ballastless track. According to reports, the construction unit has scientifically optimized the construction process and strictly controlled the laying accuracy, and plans to complete the ballastless track construction in the Hechuan section in January 2027.

At the construction site of the Xindaliang Tunnel, the longest tunnel in the Chongqing section of the Yifu High-speed Railway, builders from the 17th Bureau of China Railway are excavating the tunnel from multiple working faces. The total length of the tunnel is 14,802 meters, and a total of more than 2,000 meters have been excavated so far.
The Chongqing-Wanzhou High-speed Railway has fully entered the sprint stage of post-station engineering construction and acceptance. During the National Day holiday, all the builders of the high-speed railway stayed at their posts and continued to promote key processes such as interior and exterior decoration of the station building, installation and commissioning of "four power" equipment, fine adjustment and refinement of the line, and went all out to rush to open the railway.
At the same time, the upgrading and reconstruction project of existing railways in Chongqing is progressing steadily. As an important passenger and freight transportation channel in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, the Chongqing-Huaihua Railway passes through the Wuling Mountains and Wujiang Gorge, and the geological risks are prominent. China Railway No. 1 Bureau focused on line safety improvement, implemented 7 new open shed tunnels with a total length of about 702 meters, and simultaneously carried out 9 roadbed slope reinforcement, dangerous rock management and other comprehensive improvement operations to continue to improve the safe traffic capacity of the line.

The renovation project of the Chongqing-Jiangjin section of the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway will not stop during the holidays. The builders of the China Railway No. 8 Engineering Bureau adhered to the construction line of Huangjueping No. 1 and No. 2 tunnels and strictly followed the construction specifications to promote surrounding rock support, slag removal, and surrounding rock monitoring.
