Minister Memişoğlu attended the program held at AK Party Sultangazi District Headquarters within the scope of "Türkiye Century Meetings". In his speech here, Memişoğlu stated that Sultangazi has a special place for him and explained that he was closely interested in health investments in the district when he was the Istanbul Provincial Health Director.
Stating that Haseki Training and Research Hospital has made a significant contribution to the district, Memişoğlu said, "It is a really big hospital, it has developed a lot. Haseki took care of this place, and this place took care of Haseki. We will open an 'Oncology Hospital' there very soon. We will work together with Sultangazi and we will be able to provide all the most advanced health-related treatments of this region." shared his knowledge.
"IT IS MORE IMPORTANT FOR THE SOCIETY TO REMAIN HEALTHY"
Memişoğlu emphasized that, as the Ministry of Health, they attach importance not only to hospitals and treatment services, but also to the prevention of diseases, and said, "It is more important for us for the society to remain healthy. That is why I recommend that we stay away from factors that threaten our health, such as cigarettes, tobacco, malnutrition, and inactivity. I do not only recommend it, I want the society that demands the treatment of the disease from us, to also demand that it stay healthy. In other words, I want the society to demand from us how to stay healthy." he said.
Noting that "Family Medicine Centers" and "Healthy Life Centers" provide citizens with opportunities for healthy living, Memişoğlu said that the society should benefit more from these centers.

Kemal Memişoğlu also touched upon the importance of unity and solidarity and stated that the Anatolian geography has been the crossroads of different civilizations throughout history.
Stating that the differences within society should be turned into a force in line with common goals instead of conflict, Memişoğlu continued as follows: "Unfortunately, for years they have called us right-left, religious-non-religious, Turkish, Kurdish, Alevi, Sunni. By making us fight with each other, they unfortunately exhausted our energy and made us fall behind. That is why these words 'Terror-free Turkey', 'Terror-free Region' are very important. When you fight with a brother, it is not both of them, it is someone else who will win. Of course, everyone has the same opinion." It is not possible. Everyone may not look at it from the same perspective, but if your goal is the same and you represent the same belief and civilization of goodness, then we need to unite our differences and turn them into energy and power. When you look at it, it is the evil side that wants this fight, resentments and hostilities to continue. We will embrace each other as the good side. We will see each other with tolerance. "Or we will gather the people who have moved away and try to compensate for his resentment."
Explaining that Türkiye has faced various difficulties such as earthquakes, the Covid-19 epidemic and wars in neighboring countries in recent years, Memişoğlu said, "We are really experiencing some economic difficulties, we are aware of this. This country has perhaps experienced the earthquake disaster of the last 100 years. It left no stone unturned in 11 cities. We experienced a major epidemic together in 2020. Today, there is a Ukrainian-Russian war in our north, it affects us very much. In our east, there is the war of Iran, America and Israel. In our south, Syria, unfortunately, has lasted for over decades. "There is a war. We hosted our brothers and 3-4 million people here. When we look at it, we are still trying to make the country grow and get back on its feet." he said.
Stating that these difficulties will be overcome in unity, Memişoğlu drew attention to the importance of AK Party organizations establishing contact with citizens in the field.
MINISTER MEMİŞOĞLU MEETS WITH TRADESMEN
After the program, Memişoğlu met with citizens and tradesmen at Sultangazi 1. Cebeci Street within the scope of "Türkiye Century Meetings". Memişoğlu visited some workplaces, chatted with tradesmen and citizens and listened to their demands. During the visit, Kemal Memişoğlu gave various gifts to the children and took souvenir photos with the citizens.
