Operation against Bakırköy and Merkezefendi municipalities... NEW Party sending 'fund profiteering' to the government: 'He ignores his supporters who are turning the corner!'

NEW Party Istanbul Deputy Gökan Zeybek criticized the government with harsh words following the operations against Bakırköy Municipality and Denizli Merkezefendi Municipality.

Zeybek, who made a statement on his social media account, argued that the government remained silent in the face of "fund profiteering" allegations, while operations targeting opposition municipalities continued.

“THEY ARE PURSUING OPPOSITION MUNICIPALITIES”

In his statement, Zeybek said, "The government ignores its supporters who are turning corners with fund profiteering, and pursues operations against opposition municipalities. This morning, first Bakırköy and then Denizli Merkezefendi Municipality were targeted."

Claiming that the processes aimed at municipalities have political purposes, Zeybek said that the government's agenda is moving away from the economic problems of the citizens.

“YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT RETIRED, CIVIL CIVIL SERVANTS, WORKERS, FARMERS”

Drawing attention to the economic crisis, Zeybek stated that different segments of the society are experiencing financial difficulties and said:

“Retirees cannot make ends meet, civil servants cannot make ends meet, workers cannot get paid for their hard work, farmers cannot produce, tradesmen are closing their shutters… None of them care.”

Zeybek argued that the government acted with political calculations instead of finding solutions to poverty and economic uncertainty.

“THE PEOPLE ARE MOANING”

Claiming that the Turkish economy is experiencing a loss of confidence, Zeybek said, "They do not care about the poverty and misery suffered by the nation. This government is trying to figure out how much more we can reduce the economy, which is experiencing trust chaos and has been destroyed. The people are groaning, they are calculating their seats."

At the end of his statement, Zeybek gave an election message to the government.
