6-year-old boy found with a knife at school in the Lecce area

A 6-year-old boy who attends the second grade in a school in Trepuzzi in the Lecce area was found at school with a knife in his backpack. It happened yesterday morning. It was the teacher who raised the alarm, alerted by a classmate of the little boy.

A check in the backpack was enough to discover the presence of the bladed weapon, a 13 cm kitchen knife. Management was immediately alerted. The child's parents also arrived at school and the police also arrived on site. Social services are also activated.

From what we learn, the child may have been pushed by a classmate to bring the knife to class as a result of a previous quarrel with other pupils. The Carabinieri are proceeding with the investigations which are coordinated by the Lecce prosecutor's office for minors.
