President Lai Qingde, who is also the chairman of the Democratic Progressive Party, attended a regular meeting in action on the 23rd of this month. He mentioned that the current Kuomintang mayor Zhang Shanzheng is a talented person in national affairs, but his performance in Tao City has fallen short of external expectations. The main reason is that he is "overqualified" and "unsuited to the local environment." Democratic Party Chairman Zhu Lilun and Zhang Shanzheng attended Taoyuan City Councilor Ling Tao's campaign headquarters and Taoyuan City Vision CF press conference today (27th). Zhu said in an interview after the meeting, "Since President Lai has confirmed it, let all Taoyuan, regardless of party, fully support Zhang Shanzheng!"

Zhu Lilun said that Taoyuan deserves the best, and Taoyuan has always been the best. From the earliest days, including the old county magistrates Wu Boxiong, Xu Xinliang, Lu Xiulian, and himself, to today's mayor Zhang Shanzheng, Taoyuan has always supported the best, the strongest, the most internationally oriented, and the best leader who can lead Taoyuan to prosperity. Zhang Shanzheng is definitely the best leader in Taoyuan.

Zhu Lilun said that in the past four years, Zhang Shanzheng has led Taoyuan to become the fastest-growing city in Taiwan. In the next four years, Taoyuan will need Zhang Shanzheng to become the largest AI technology city in Taiwan. He thanked President Lai for his affirmation. He even shouted, "Since President Lai has affirmed, let all Taoyuan fully support Zhang Shanzheng regardless of party affiliation!"

When Zhang Shanzheng was asked about Lai Qingde's praise, he did not respond directly. He only recommended Ling Tao to use the policy creativity that young people should have during his tenure as a councillor. For example, Taoyuan promoted the construction of a science education center, which was Ling Tao's idea.
