Extermination of a family in Sohag: A husband kills his wife and two men under the pretext of marital disputes

The security services in Sohag received a report that a woman and two men were found dead in the Shosh housing area. The relevant agencies immediately moved to the site of the accident and began examining its circumstances and collecting information related to the incident. Initial investigations conducted by Sohag Police Station Investigation Officers revealed that the accused husband took the life of his wife inside their home, then went to a workshop near his residence, where he assaulted two men, which led to their death, according to the findings of the initial investigations. Investigations reported that the accused justified committing the crime due to marital disputes, in addition to his belief that there was a relationship between his wife and one of the two men who assaulted her, before his doubts and disagreements developed into a bloody crime that claimed the lives of three people. After his arrest, the accused was taken to the investigation authorities, where his statements were heard regarding the circumstances of the incident and his motives, while the bodies were seized and transferred to the hospital morgue at the disposal of the investigation authorities. After completing the necessary legal procedures, the investigating authorities ordered the burial of the bodies of the three victims, while investigations continued to reveal all the details of the incident and its circumstances and determine criminal responsibilities. The competent authorities in Sohag continue to complete the legal procedures, in preparation for taking the appropriate decision regarding the accused in light of what the investigations and criminal evidence will reveal.
