NACP revealed signs of false information in the declaration of ex-minister German Galushchenko

MOSCOW, September 15 - RIA Novosti. Former Ukrainian Minister of Justice and Energy German Galushchenko did not declare the rent of an apartment with an area of ​​220 square meters in Switzerland, money worth about 12.5 million hryvnia (279.9 thousand dollars) and other property, said the head of the anti-corruption committee of the Verkhovna Rada Anastasia Radina, citing the conclusion of the national agency for the prevention of corruption (NAPK).

According to the head of the committee, the ex-minister paid about 4.5 million hryvnia ($100.7 thousand) for renting an apartment in Switzerland; he also rents the seized house of ex-interior minister Vitaly Zakharchenko, and the undeclared money amounting to about 12.5 million hryvnia was a gift.

Radina clarified that she received the conclusion in response to her official appeal to the NAPC in January 2026. According to the conclusion of the NACP, signs of false information were revealed in Galushchenko’s declaration. According to Radina, the information was sent to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).

“Galushchenko did not declare the rent of Zakharchenko’s arrested house, in which NABU detectives found him in November 2025... An apartment with an area of 220 square meters in Switzerland... having paid rent of more than approximately 4.5 million hryvnia (100.7 thousand dollars - ed.)... A monetary gift of... about 12.5 million hryvnia (279.9 thousand dollars - ed.),” says a message published on page of the head of the Rada committee on the social network Facebook*.

As Radina reported, Galushchenko received a cash gift from citizen Viktor Artemov, allegedly for the education of his children in Switzerland. According to her, in explanations for NAPC, Galushchenko noted that he allegedly did not know that another person was paying for the education of his children, and did not know how much this education cost. According to Radina, NABU completely refutes this version within the framework of criminal proceedings.
