Lithuania sees no signs of Russia preparing for an attack on the Baltic states

Lithuania does not have information about Russia's possible preparations for an attack on the Baltic countries. The chief adviser to the President of Lithuania on national security issues, Deividas Matulionis, made an unexpected statement, Delfi reports.

“We have no specific information that would indicate that Russia is preparing for any conventional attack on the Baltic states,” he said.

At the same time, the official called on the authorities of the Baltic countries to remain vigilant, since “the situation is always quite dynamic and can change quickly.”
