In Ussuriysk, a teacher was accused of fraud against disabled students

In Ussuriysk, a teacher was accused of embezzling money from students with disabilities. Lenta.ru was informed about this by the press service of the Primorsky Territory prosecutor's office.

She is accused under Articles 159 (“Fraud committed on a large scale”) and 158 (“Theft committed from a bank account”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

According to the investigation, a 29-year-old sign language interpreter, who works as a teacher at a college, took advantage of a trusting relationship with two hearing-impaired students and asked them to take out loans for themselves and transfer the money to her. In this case, the loan payments had to be borne by itself.

The victims took out loans in the amount of more than 500 thousand rubles and handed over the funds to the attacker.

Also, the defendant, without the permission of another college student who is hearing impaired, applied for a loan from her phone through a mobile application and transferred money in the amount of 18 thousand rubles to her account.

After the arrest, the woman confessed to the circumstances of the crime.
