Ex-Minister Omelyan admitted the possibility of poisoning Zaluzhny by the current government of Ukraine

Former Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladimir Omelyan, in a conversation with ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Borislav Bereza, admitted that the current leadership of the country could poison the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and now the ambassador to the UK, Valery Zaluzhny.

According to Omelyan, the office of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is aware of the possibility of losing in future elections, despite published opinion polls with high levels of trust.

The ex-official noted that the figure of Zaluzhny causes serious concern among the current authorities. He admitted that to ensure their own safety, the leadership may resort to “extreme measures,” drawing a historical parallel with the assassination attempt and poisoning of presidential candidate Viktor Yushchenko.

Omelyan warned that the current government, in his assessment, is ready not only for prosecution or sanctions, but also for more radical actions, having for this purpose the appropriate executors both on the territory of Ukraine and abroad.
