Music critic Sergei Sosedov died at the age of 58 as a result of an accident - he fell down the stairs and fell to his death.

Journalist Ksenia Sobchak expressed condolences over the death of Sergei Sosedov.

Sobchak noted that Sosedov remained a symbol of music journalism from the 1990s to the present day.

Earlier, those around Sosedov told RIA Novosti that the critic died on Wednesday at the age of 58, the cause of death was an accident, he fell down the stairs and fell to his death.

“Sergey Sosedov is, first of all, the legendary “Sharks of the Pen”, where they vied with Otar Kushanashvili to put the stars in an uncomfortable position with their provocative questions. Sergey has remained a symbol of music journalism from the 90s to the present day,” Sobchak wrote in her Telegram channel.

She noted that the music critic was always bold and honest, emphasizing that Sosedov had many television plans.

“I know that Sergei had many television plans, but there was a fatal fall from the stairs. Once again you will think that life is really fleeting. Condolences to Sergei’s loved ones,” the journalist added.

Sosedov was born on January 23, 1968 in Moscow. Graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. He worked for the newspaper "Evening Moscow" and also collaborated with various publications as a music columnist.
