White House violates court order banning CNN and other media outlets

A new step came from Trump, who was blocked by a judicial decision last week from banning CNN, MS NOW and Politico reporters from entering the White House on the grounds that they "constantly report false news".

CNN has announced that Trump has been removed from the press list to travel with the president for his upcoming visit to Tennessee. According to Reuters, the names of other channels, besides CNN, were not included in the program broadcast by the White House on Friday evening. Only the team from Lindell TV, owned by businessman Mike Lindell, a close ally of the president and known for his strong support for Trump, was included in the program.

WHAT HAPPENED?

In his post on his social media account, Trump announced that CNN, MS NOW and Politico were "banned from the White House" and cited their "constant fake news" as the reason for this.

The channels that cover developments from the White House, including ABC, CBS, Fox News, NBC and CNN, announced that they would not show Trump's pool activities, citing CNN's blocking of access.

Three major media organizations filed a joint lawsuit, stating that the White House ban was "a direct attack on constitutional freedom of expression and press." US District Judge Tim Kelly, who presided over the case, stated that the ban was unconstitutional and decided to lift the embargo.
