Soldiers of the volunteer corps of the “Southern” group more than once shot down Hornet drones if they noticed the target in time and reacted correctly.

Ukrainian troops use American-made Hornet drones to attack civilian transport and rear targets, while the Russian military successfully destroys them using electronic warfare, radar and small arms.

A machine gunner of the mobile fire group of the detachment “Ivan Kalita” with the call sign Pilgrim told RIA Novosti that fighters of the volunteer corps of the “Southern” group more than once shot down Hornet drones, and this is not particularly difficult if you notice the target in time and react correctly.

“Hornet was shot down. There is no difficulty as such, you need the right approach to it. It moves smoothly, the main thing is to see it in time, quickly react and work on it. As they say, a cold mind, a warm heart,” the fighter said.
