Bruce Campbell reveals estimated five-year life span after cancer diagnosis

Actor Bruce Campbell, known for the horror trilogy "One Hallucinating Night", revealed that he was given an estimate of five years to live by doctors.

Diagnosed with cancer in March, Campbell did not disclose the type of disease. At the time, he stated that his condition was treatable, but not curable.

According to the artist revealed to the podcast "Adam Carolla Show", the medical forecast regarding his lifespan was recently informed.

Campbell commented on the psychological impact of the diagnosis and compared the secondary complications to the game of "whack-a-mole".

"Cancer compromises things inside your body. Then you go there and take care of that. Then, you're kind of waiting to compromise something else. Meanwhile, you're trying to put out the entire fire."

At 67 years old, Campbell has a career marked by his partnership with director Sam Raimi, which began with the horror classics of the "One Hallucinating Night" franchise in the 1980s and 1990s. The actor also starred in the spin-off series "Ash vs. Evil Dead", which ran for three seasons between 2015 and 2018.

He is also remembered for cameo appearances in the "Spider-Man" trilogy, directed by the same filmmaker.
