Diogo Defante entertains the audience at Rock in Rio 2026 with an irreverent and interactive show

Singer and comedian Diogo Defante, 35 years old, managed to capture a good part of the audience that was at Rock in Rio on Friday night (4). At the same time as the YouTuber's performance on the Supernova Stage, the band Hot Milk performed to an empty and dispersed audience on the Sunset Stage.

Right at the opening, a mini robot stood in the singer's place for a few minutes. Defante then appeared on stage, wearing a kind of magician's costume mixed with a pirate's. “This is the humans, damn it”, he shouted, expelling the little creature.

Its musicians all wore futuristic costumes that flashed.

A rocker since he was just a teenager in Realengo (RJ), Defante was happy in life. "Thank you for the opportunity. For those who don't know, I was in a band before creating content on the internet."

On stage today, he sang, recited and shouted some of his original songs, in a repertoire well known to fans who follow him from viral interviews.

As in “Padeiro” (2022), whose lyrics say: “The clientele loves their bread in the form of scrotum bread. With two dreams and a Bengal bread, it forms a beautiful stick. La, la, la, la, la, la, la...”.

In “Matinho” (2023) and “Lambe os Homem” (2024), he preferred to call on his faithful followers to embody the so-called “little plants”: “Light a 'bomb' there. I just want to hear the potheads' stuff”, he asked, simulating making a cigarette with his hands. The chorus repeated “I’m not leaving without my fucking press [pressed]”.

But it was when he took on the lyrical self of a pubelho in the track “Pelo” (2023) that the public had the most fun: "A combover in an outburst complained about the anal bottoms and the terrible odors he puts up with. No one shaves the thread, just the front parts", he declaimed, almost as if reciting a poem, in the song's introduction.

During the pauses between one song and another, the audience screamed to get the singer's attention, alternating between shouts of “Defante, hot” and “Hey, Defante, go take it up the ass”. At one point, the singer replied: “Lucky for you, taking it up the ass is good.”

Condoms inflated like balloons and a Chuck doll passed from hand to hand. In the “pit”, a man dressed as a giant rat was also running back and forth. He was part of the presentation. In many moments, the cat threw himself from the stage into the arms of the audience, who groped him over his costume.

At the very end of the 55-minute presentation, Defante turned his back wearing a pair of denim shorts and repeated Anitta's famous catchphrase: “Did you really think I wasn't going to shake my ass today?” Afterwards, he told his fans: "I want to see you up here one day. Make rock and rock will come back, damn it."
