MC Cabelinho announces the release of his sixth studio album, 'Escorpião'

♬ As he prepares to perform at Espaço Favela at the Rock in Rio festival (in a show scheduled for September 11th with the participation of rapper TZ da Coronel) and to record the next Globoplay soap opera, “Paraíso Perdido”, MC Cabelinho announces the release of his sixth studio album, “Escorpião”, scheduled for September 28th.

At 30 years old, the singer, composer and actor from Rio is betting on the strength of the album “Escorpião” as a complete work. So much so that it dispensed with the editing of singles and will present the album in its entirety, with nine songs.

"I didn't see myself releasing any single/preview. I thought it would be better to deliver everything at once, just like the process of the album, and all the feelings I put into (the album), really intense", explains the artist, born Victor Hugo Oliveira do Nascimento in January 1996.

Marina Sena participates in “Veneno”, one of the nine tracks on “Escorpião”. Another song on the album, “Rótulos”, brings together Cabelinho with Alee and Klisman, two Bahian singers and songwriters on the rise in the northeastern trap universe.

“Don’t compare me”, “Lonely”, “Escorpiana”, “Pontas no ashtray”, “Jogo perdido”, “Falso 9” and “Triste fim” are the other seven songs that complete the new and original repertoire of the album “Escorpião”.
