They kept it in the dishwasher! 'Drug' operation in Istanbul: Exactly 100 kilos...

Istanbul Police Department Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch Directorate teams carried out an operation against 5 addresses and 3 vehicles in Esenyurt, Silivri, Ataşehir, Başakşehir and Avcılar districts, within the scope of the work carried out to prevent drug trafficking.

Two suspects were detained during the operations. During the searches, 98 kilos 500 grams of Skunk and 1 kilo of cocaine, some of which were hidden in the dishwasher, were seized, while 3 precision scales and 1 hand grenade were also seized.

2 SUSPECTS WERE ARRESTED

The two suspects who were caught were arrested by the court to which they were referred. One wanted suspect was detained in simultaneous operations carried out at the addresses specified in Esenyurt and Avcılar.

During the searches carried out at the suspect's house, handmade explosives and 29 cartridges with a diameter of 7.62 millimeters were seized.

COURIER VIEW DISTRIBUTION

During the investigation, it was determined that the drugs were transported in closed boxes and an attempt was made to deliver them by posing as a courier delivering food.

It was also determined that the handmade explosive was tied to a rope and hung in the elevator shaft of the building, and an attempt was made to hide it in this way.

OPERATION IN KAĞITHANE

The teams also carried out an operation at the address thought to be used as a warehouse by different suspects in Kağıthane.

Two more suspects were detained during the operation. During the searches, 568 kilos and 300 grams of the drug known as pregabalin, used as raw material for synthetic pills, were seized.
