Karpin: the return of Russian football players to tournaments is not yet felt

Head coach of the Russian national team Valery Karpin assessed the likelihood of Russian football players returning to tournaments. His words are quoted by Match TV.

“My feeling is that nothing has changed. I don’t feel the clearance approaching yet,” Karpin noted.

Earlier, Karpin compared the level of the Russian national team before the suspension with the current team. In his opinion, the team has become stronger. “Perhaps this sounds too optimistic, and you can say whatever you want,” added the 57-year-old specialist.
