A group of seven people, despite the ban on visiting forests, took a boat up the Yenisei and settled in the remote taiga of the Todzha region. The bear attacked one of the tourists, who received severe facial injuries. The tourist was taken by air ambulance to the republican hospital, where he died at the age of 62. Later, a source told RIA Novosti that the deceased was Kuzmenko’s father.
