Zakharova: The West is afraid to admit criminal mistakes in relation to other countries

Western countries are most afraid of admitting their own criminal mistakes. Official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova spoke about this in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

“[The West] will have to admit that mistakes were made that can be qualified as criminal mistakes, which led to a violation of the sovereignty of another state, to aggression that was not provoked by anything,” she explained.

Among the mistakes, Maria Zakharova named, among other things, actions towards Iran, as a result of which a girls’ school came under attack. At the same time, Western countries initially refused to take responsibility for the strike, the diplomat emphasized.
