China's Foreign Ministry says Japan is testing the international community's "red lines"

Japan is testing the international community's red lines by discussing the abandonment of non-nuclear principles. This was stated by official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Guo Jiakun during a briefing, RIA Novosti reports.

“Japan constantly challenges the limits of what is acceptable in the international community,” the diplomat said.

Guo Jiakun emphasized that in recent years, Japan has been accelerating the process of remilitarization, discussing plans to abandon the “three non-nuclear principles.”

The diplomat explained that the commitment not to produce, acquire or possess nuclear weapons is Tokyo's most important international legal obligation and there is no room for bargaining.
