China News Service, Chongqing, October 5 (Reporter Zhong Yi) During the National Day holiday, the "Shijing Courtyard" located in Xiaojia Town, Hechuan District, Chongqing, with its white walls, black tiles, and flower trees, welcomed batches of tourists. The garden square, conference pavilion, and cultural corridor are arranged in an orderly manner. This agricultural, cultural and tourism demonstration site built around the ancestral home of Lu Zuofu, a patriotic industrialist from Chongqing, is exactly like the "beautiful home" described by Lu Zuofu a hundred years ago.

Xiaojia Town is the ancestral home of Lu Zuofu. A reporter from China News Network learned that in recent years, the town has continued to dig deep into Lu Zuofu culture, Sichuan Opera culture and red cultural resources, and made every effort to build the cultural brand of "Zuofu Hometown·Beautiful Xiao Family" to show the rural revitalization picture of the integration of agriculture, culture and tourism.
In 2022, around Lu Zuofu's ancestral house, the local area updated and improved the surrounding "Liu Family Courtyard". 48 old houses were integrated into the "Shijing" construction concept and renamed "Shijing Yard". Through courtyard renovation, road construction, and point-based management, the former ordinary farmhouse has become a popular check-in place for rural tourism and a place for inheriting the spirit of Zuofu. In the same year, Xiaojia Town successfully established itself as a beautiful and livable model town in Chongqing.
From 2022 to April 2023, Xiaojia Town took the lead in completing the indoor exhibition project of Lu Zuofu's ancestral house, which is open to the public for free. Through tracing Lu Zuofu's family lineage, displaying genealogy, combing his life, and restoring the life scenes of his ancestors, he comprehensively demonstrated his outstanding contributions in the fields of "saving the country through education" and "saving the country through industry." The town has also successfully established the Hechuan District Patriotism Education Base and the Hechuan District Rural Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Base, trained 12 instructors, and has hosted more than 210 batches of party building and theme activities from various departments and social groups, with more than 70,000 people.

In recent years, Xiaojia Town has used the civilized practice of the new era as a platform, with Lu Zuofu's ancestral house and the Sichuan Opera Cultural Square as the main positions, and organized nearly 200 special theme activities such as "Sending Sichuan Opera to the countryside", "Sichuan Opera to the campus", "I will tell the story of Zuofu" and "Zuofu National Sports Week"; it has hosted "Bashu is in the same vein" The "Civilization Together" joint construction activity of the new era civilized practice belt in northern Sichuan and northern Chongqing conducted in-depth discussions on cultivating civilized practice brand projects with Bashu characteristics and Sichuan-Chongqing linkage, effectively enhancing the soft power of regional culture; deepening the theme activity of "Our Festival", organized and carried out 45 activities in Shijingyuan and Zuofu School to sing Qingming, enjoy the Spring Festival, make rice dumplings on the Dragon Boat Festival, and provide youth holiday care, covering nearly 6,000 people.
