French tourist robs Canberra woman using AI

A tourist from France flew to Australia and robbed a wealthy local woman using AI. Region.com.au writes about this.

It is reported that the Frenchman saw the Australian woman’s publications on social networks. There she shared photos of luxury items that are in her home. Then he decided to track her down. Using one of the photographs, the man was able to determine through AI that the woman lived in Canberra.

He then flew to Australia and, together with his accomplices, robbed her house. The amount of damage was estimated at two million dollars (173 million rubles). All four Frenchmen admitted their guilt in court.
