Singer Duyen Quynh brought the beautiful scenery of the Northwest, Central Highlands and Southwest mountains into the MV "Vietnam is radiant", released on the occasion of National Day September 2.
She said she invested the largest amount of time and finance ever into the product. Instead of recording at the studio, the singer and his crew traveled from North to South with the desire to bring the scenery, life, and typical culture of many localities into the MV.
Dozens of landmarks appear in the product such as Hanoi Flag Tower, Ha Long Bay, the Northwest mountains, Central Highlands, Truong Tien Bridge, floating markets in the Mekong Delta. Through each destination, the singer changes her appearance to suit the context, sometimes transforming into a highland girl, sometimes wearing a purple ao dai from Hue, a ba ba shirt in the river region or Khmer costumes.
The singer said the MV idea came from his trips during his musical activities. "Vietnam has so many beautiful landscapes, and the people are friendly and hospitable. I think if I make a MV for my whole life, it will be difficult to exploit all the cultural materials," Duyen Quynh said.
Viet Nam's Radiant Brocade was composed by Duyen Quynh from the end of 2025. Positive feedback from the audience encouraged the singer to develop the song into a MV and choose the occasion of National Day September 2 to introduce it. The song has a heroic sound interspersed with lyrical passages, praising the scenery, people and the spirit of solidarity.
Duyen Quynh said that during the recording process, she did not focus on showing off techniques but focused on emotions, hoping to create closeness with listeners. "Through the product, I want to convey the message that everyone can contribute to introducing the image of Vietnam to international friends," the singer said.
In recent years, Duyen Quynh has prioritized songs with the theme of her hometown and country. She said she does not put pressure on herself to surpass the achievements of previous products, viewing each project as the next step in the direction of using music to tell about Vietnamese culture and people.
Duyen Quynh, 36 years old, from Dak Lak, graduated from the Department of Vocal Music, Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music in 2015. After graduating, she worked for the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet and Symphony Theater (HBSO). In early 2019, she competed in the Power Band competition and won second place. The same year, Duyen Quynh won the title of Love Story Teller season three. After the competition, besides singing, the singer also voiced movies and composed music. In 2025, she became known to many people through the song Continue the Story of Peace composed by musician Nguyen Van Chung. The song created a social network fever and appeared in many art shows, reaching billions of views on platforms.
At the beginning of the year, Duyen Quynh apologized for not bringing a "professional experience" to the audience when she was revealed to be lip-syncing at the 2025 Green Wave awards ceremony.
