Miss World 2024 is preparing for the final which will take place in Khanh Hoa on September 5

General director Hoang Nhat Nam said the crew started setting up the stage at the end of August at April 2 Square. "Currently, the basic stages are completed to enter preliminary and final rehearsals," he said. Before the finals (September 5), the Dances of The World competition will take place on the evening of September 2.

Over the past several days, hundreds of people from the structural, mechanical, electrical, sound, lighting, logistics, security and production coordination departments have been mobilized to participate in preparations.

"Groups divided into shifts to work day and night, throughout the September 2 holiday to keep up with schedule," Mr. Hoang Nhat Nam said.

Workers test and assemble LED screens, sounds, lights and lasers. The crew representative said they checked every small detail of the stage such as power lines and stage podium. Construction requires coordination between many units, including traffic flow. According to the organizing committee, the program received support from the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province.

On August 31, Miss World organizers and contestants awarded 200 million VND in cash and many gifts to children, pupils and students in difficult circumstances in Khanh Hoa.

After the important closed-door interview round on August 30, the beauties practiced to prepare for the final night of the competition. Before the finals, the judges selected 10 candidates who were sure to continue after the extra rounds. The remaining 30 contestants will be announced on the final stage. According to the format, the organizers divided into four continents and regions, each group will have 10 contestants.

After 72 seasons, the contest took place for the first time in Vietnam, organized by Golden Lotus Company in coordination with Miss World Organization, going through three provinces including Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Khanh Hoa from August 8 to September 5.

Miss World, first held in 1951, is one of the two largest and oldest beauty contests in the world, besides Miss Universe. The playground celebrates the spirit of global solidarity by finding girls with beauty, education and meaningful community projects.
